Hello, my name is Kalina and I am a
portrait photographer based in Charlotte, NC

Just a little about me

I live in Charlotte, North Carolina with my husband of 25 years. I went to school for child therapy and I was a family therapist for 18 years. However, my passion has always been photography. After many years of capturing my own family's special moments, I launched Kalina's Photography in 2019. Thanks to my extensive experience working with kids, my clients tell me all the time that I am "extremely patient."

My Photography Style

My style is minimalist and I believe in keeping it simple. Simple doesn’t mean keeping it boring. In fact, a minimalist approach requires careful thought, observation, and the creativity of working within certain boundaries to make your family the main focus.

My Studio

My home studio provides professional lighting and props needed for capturing your beautiful photos. Please know that my current studio is on my second floor. I do maternities, newborns and families in my studio.
