Cake Smashes

Charlotte parents! Do you have a first birthday celebration coming up in your family? What are you waiting for to celebrate with an adorable cake smash session in our Charlotte studio?! We take the stress away from capturing this first year milestone.

Congratulations! you almost made it through your baby's first year and you want to celebrate it with cute a cake smash for him or her.

Your baby's cake smash sessions has two parts so that your gallery captures your one year old and his or her personality. Parents usually bring a special outfit to start with and cake photos are front and center. My style is minimalist and I love to incorporate some sprinkled themes for your baby. If you want to use these photos for your baby's birthday party please schedule the cake smash session at least four (4) weeks before your baby's party so that I can edit and deliver your photos on a digital gallery.

I require that you provide your own cake as you know your child best and dietary needs and allergens. We have done doughnuts as well > bunt cakes. Here is a couple of suggestions for cakes. Did you know that Harris Teeter offer a free cake click here for application for first year babies. These cakes are budget friendly (free) but they are very simple nothing fancy. If you are looking for something more fancy we recommend Suarez Bakery, make sure to contact them with time. If you are concerned about allergens Whole Foods Market is a safe bet.

Now to themes, yes we offer theme cake smash and we can provide you with a minimalist look with them, meaning color balloons, with props of your choice. To do this choose our Luxury package.
